A little bit about me…

  1. My name is Teah. Pronounced like Tay-ah, not Tee-ah. And a lot of people get it wrong the first few times, so don’t worry if you do too! :)

  2.  I'm a wedding photographer based in Ottawa, Canada. I love to capture light, airy & colourful images of happy couples in love!

  3. I'm fully bilingual and can provide services in English and/or en Français!

  4.  My high school sweetheart and I have been together since we were 15!

  5. I love matcha lattes & confetti cookies! I can often be spotted in a local coffee shop with both of the above!

  6.  While photography sparks my creative side, I also love climate science! I currently work for Environment and Climate Change Canada, and have a Master of Environmental Science with a specialization in Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation. I also completed my undergraduate degree in an Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, and even published my undergrad thesis!

  7. One last fact (though it’s a long one!): In September 2016, my partner & I started an 8 month long trip around the world. We visited 16 countries over 3 continents, and saw and did more than we could ever have imagined! We drove the Ring Road of Iceland in a manual 4x4 Suzuki Jimny, kissed by the Eiffel Tower, hiked along a tea-house trek in the Himalayas of Nepal, climbed the Great Wall of China, woke up at the crack of dawn to see the Taj Mahal, drove along Australia’s GreatOcean Road and visited the 12 Apostles (though there aren't actually 12, more like 8, and there are only 7 left!), watched the sun rise and watched the hot air balloons float over the temples in Bagan, got our open water diver certification in Thailand, swam in the stunningly turquoise waters of the Kuang Si Falls in Laos, motorbiked from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min, watched the sun rise at Ankor Wat, walked through the Gardens By the Bay of Singapore (as seen in the Crazy Rich Asians movie!), scuba dove through a shipwreck and saw a sea turtle in Bali, saw a whale shark in Osaka (I'm OBSESSED!), strolled through the streets of Tokyo during cherry blossom season (I’m also OBSESSED with cherry blossoms!), and sipped warm drinks in a sheep café in Seoul (though we also visited a cat café, dog café, and Van Gogh art café while there!).
