Kyrie & Jesse's Downtown Ottawa Engagement Session

Like many couples, Kyrie & Jesse’s summer 2020 wedding plans were sliiiightly changed by COVID-19! While they couldn’t get married on July 25th, 2020 as originally planned, we could still make it a special day by making it their engagement session date! 🥰 🌿🤍

We met up at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, and then walked down around the Rideau Canal Locks at sunset. It turned out to be a gorgeous sunny evening, with a nice breeze to help keep us cool! And since they were downtown anyways, they decided to turn the evening into a night out and went to grab dinner together afterwards! I can’t wait to shoot their big day!

P.S. if you’re ever looking for a good dessert spot downtown, Mantovani 1946 has the most AMAZING gelato!


Jean & Sung's Spring Engagement Session

Jean & Sung brought their incredibly cute little pup, Kona, to their engagement session. We had such a great time walking around the Ornamental Gardens at the Experimental Farm and giving Kona treats! I always love when pets can be included, their such an important part of the family :)

Jean mentioned before their session, that she was worried that they weren’t used to being in front of the camera, but within minutes we were chatting and laughing and getting the session started! By the end they were both complete naturals! I loved that they brought traditional Korean hanboks as one of their 2 outfits for the session! They were so colourful and fun!

Shona & Dan's Blossom Engagement Session in Ottawa

I met Shona a few years back when we were both studying and cheerleading for the University of Ottawa! A few years after we’d graduated, I received a message from her telling me she’d gotten engaged and that she loved my photos! I was so delighted she’d reached out and that we got to reconnect.

I mentioned blossom season in May in Ottawa, and we set the date for her & Dan’s Spring engagement session! We ended up with a beautiful day in May 2019. We walked around the Arboretum at the Experimental Farm, caught up with each other and chatted about their wedding plans!

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding just 1 week from now!
